I think about it and suffer. But this is the reality: In Mexico, the National Television rarely has been concerned with providing opportunities for people wanting to do different things, positive reviews that benefit the viewer, to assist the evolution of culture. We rarely where the Mexican open TV programs has generated rich content, entertaining, actually generating a new proposal and respects the public as a thinking being smart.
And just when you think you can not fall lower, appear with great fanfare programs conducted by two of the most regrettable that they have in their ranks the television: Niurka and Laura Bozzo .
Both the culture of a skunk to conduct a television program, both with careers grounded in the scandal, in self-denigration and the neighbor . Characters with similar credentials were presented today by TV Azteca and Televisa as two of its main champions to lead its evening programming.
Por ende, se trasmiten en una señal que en teoría pertenece to all of us and broadcasters operate at will, forgetting that by law must meet the following rule that requires them to generate content that:
" ... do not threaten or harm their health, culture, morality and individual rights and collective, and at the same time, peace and public tranquility . "
But in the XXI century Mexico, is television that dictates how and what laws should be followed in communication. In fact the real power achieved by the television has led them to establish itself as show trials stations with more reach and influence than those generated from the institutions responsible for the same. And all this through programs that were released today in the national screens.
For all these reasons, I can not feel nothing but awe when you resubmit the opportunity to address people who are being trained in a school of communication. Guys that will be faced with a scenario that offers very few opportunities and few found in the media are style of what we've seen on television. No doubt many of them are willing to follow this path with such out on screen, but I am sure many think that one when I was in a university classroom, I'm going to do big things in the media.
I think today was a sad day for those who study and to students of communication. Practically we are told that our career does not work for television in this country, that we are more that are leftovers. What remains? Perhaps the generation of proprietary content, taking advantage of new technology platforms for sharing good developed content with readers in the multimedia world of today. But above all the most important is that these contents are profitable and dignify the profession. Maybe talk about it - with dread - the next time I face a future group of communications specialists.
So things said Monday ...
