Seven Readers! ..
In giving this to derail the new year, Mexico seems to paint itself. Just give a glance at the newspapers in recent days to realize that the news generated in our country are far from encouraging. On the contrary, there appears the idea that Mexicans once and forget all the good wishes we made during the last days of 2010.
So we met with a further increase to gasoline, with decapitated bodies in Acapulco, with the Christmas truce in tatters and the resurgence of violence to the extent that the barometer of a German university which places our country in the place No. 6 among the most violent countries in the world, have awakened to the new year with a country drenched in blood, broken and seemingly hope to break the impasse in which it is located.
And as that happens, the small Michoacan which makes for president seems to be more alone and lost than never as it approaches the end of his disastrous administration. Think that the strategies will change calderonistas during the year is useless. The president will die with his ideas to address the multiple problems of the country by dragging with the obstinacy of the nation. There will be the turn of the helm that many industries require, simply because that would acknowledge that it has erred in the 4 ½ years of the disastrous administration of Calderón. Changes in the presidential cabinet under such an electoral strategy when they should respond to a need to change course, to correct the path. If so, not only as a much maligned Secretary Molinar had to leave (in a fairly democratic country Molinar should be brought to justice for many cases) but also Genaro Garcia Luna and Javier Lozano Alarcón had also had to pack up and leave their purses in the hands of others. The appointment of new managers of the offices of Communications and Transport and Energy, seems more designed to cover the traces of the disaster to try to do something to improve both sectors. But I fear that such decisions - with an accent electioneering - the president will not be exclusive, but in general at all levels of government. All shares will now make efforts to begin the harvest of votes and will of palliative and flashy. In short: Calderón's six-year term ended and now the political scavengers on the dying fly waiting to give the final thrust to allow the beating gain the coveted keys to Los Pinos.
All this - my dear Seven Readers - predicts a 2011 in which Mexicans will be virtually ignored, which we'll just be part of a dispute over control of political power, which we will simply use as the medium for that or some become entrenched in power. The question is: are we willing to use us again, or do something about it? In the answer to this depends largely the future of this country.
Quixotic Campaign:
The idea is that this picture - and other cartoonists who have created - is used by all citizens who wish to join the initiative . They can do this by pasting stickers on their cars, offices or anywhere they want. They can also be used in the profiles of any of their social networks or blogs. Today
Hashtags# Nomássangre and # Yabastadesangre became TT on Twitter and 12 of the day, we wrote to several twitter Time Line of Felipe Calderón to express our outrage at the thousands of deaths that have occurred during administration.
course must not be naive and think that the president will listen to a group of outraged citizens and from there things will change in the country. But the issue I think is very important because if it comes from a group of people with a very particular ideology, this is a people's movement to the interests of any political party, therefore it has all the flavor of being a true citizen movement and that is what we need in the country that citizens begin to move in some way, we begin to demand a change in things. I have argued, the change will not come from political parties, must come from society and quixotic campaigns like this may be the beginning of something important: the awakening of Mexican citizens. I think
worth joining.
So now things
Ps ... Messi is a great player but FIFA is flatly wrong to give the Golden Ball for best player of the year. It succeeded in Barcelona and the English football team the award should fall on Xavi. But what do you want? FIFA is, this body that is precisely characterized by fair decisions. No way.
... well ...
